Earth's Axis has changed

9-2018 Is anyone located near the equator?

We need to find someone located near the equator to observe the sun position on  Sept 23rd and once a week for 3 weeks after.

Please let us know if you are anywhere close to the equator.

  1. Not sure if anyone reported this incident. Major 7.2 earthquake tsunami and now volcanic eruption in Indonesia

    • Indonesia is certainly taking a pounding. I have 2 people living in the area who say they are being subjected to continuous earthquakes. Your info shows the quakes are of serious size. They have also been hit with a tsunami and volcanic eruption just in the past few days. Once the earth has stopped shifting they will be in the ideal location in the tropics. But until that happens, Indonesia has the most unstable tectonic plate on the planet.
I was shocked to see that north Vietnam had been hit with a substantial snow in 2016. But to see snow in the tropics was more than bizarre and shows just how screwed up our global weather has become. Remember how far north the sun was in July? That means it was not near as warm in the tropics as it should have been because they were getting less sunlight levels during our summer months and the southern hemisphere summer months which equally deprive the tropics of sun because everything is mirror imaged in the southern hemisphere to our northern hemisphere summer months.
Here is a link with a dozen articles about catastrophic events in Vietnam including the snow article. But this link has so many shocking world events of fish die-offs and floods and colored water that I think everyone should take a look at it. These are international stories that the US rarely allows the public to see. This “Strange Sounds” website has truly exceptional articles. I highly recommend it. This link should take you to the vietnam search articles I accessed.

    • Thank you, but too late. We needed it on Sept 23rd. Bali is too far south for the September equinox. For september we would need someone at the equator or slightly north of the equator.

But we could try again on March 21st. That is the next equinox. I would be interested to see your noon shadow direction on March 21st and the sunrise & sunset angles.
