Earth's Axis has changed

Time to measure the sun Australia & South Africa & Southern Peru.

Dec 21st.

All of you who live south of the Tropic of Capricorn need to measure the sun position today at dawn & dusk. Use a clock face. 12 for due South; 3 for West and 9 for East.

The sunrise should be somewhere near 10 or 11 on the clock face angle.

Sunset should appear near 1 or 2.

Be sure to measure when the sun is in contact with the flat horizon. Mountains will obscure the results.

Just one side measurement is ok if you have mountains on the other side.

Also, if you missed your Dec 21st measurement, you can still obtain the sun’s position for the next week or soonest possible day. We just need an idea. It doesn’t have to be perfect.

If you Are unsure about the clock face, read the previous posts on how to measure the sun position with an imaginary clock face. I simply inverted the clock to face south for you. If you wish to invert the clock in the opposite direction it is OK. Just be sure to tell us which number points to the South.

Check the comments to this post for the responses we received.

It is impossible for us to be accurate from the northern hemisphere in December when the sun is in the southern hemisphere due to the extreme curvature.

I do not wish to post inaccurate measurements so in December we have the visitor observations which I cannot verify from my location with any accuracy. But we appreciate any observations our visitors can provide. Those who reside in the southern hemisphere south of the tropic of Capricorn can compare what they see with other visitors.

I would rather be accurate than speculate since I cannot verify from those extreme southern positions. The most reliable measurements I can provide from my location in the central US, is on June 21st each year. I don’t like waiting either but I should never wish to post inaccurate info. In June, everyone in the northern hemisphere can verify my measurements are accurate by comparing what you see on that date.

We saw an improvement last June 2015 but these weather patterns are disconcerting. I hope it continues to improve which sounds promising from our December responders.

But I have a bad feeling it wont continue and need to see our June results for 2016 & 2017.

  1. Seems you are in luck. I watch the sun, since I have always been interested in the seasons and trying
    to predict weather, etc.

I have made some strange observations lately and I have been dying to tell someone that will be interested. No one seems to care! Or rather, being able to appreciate the severity of the issue…

I am at the southern end of South Africa. For the past two years Summer Solstice was NOT on the 21st of December but occurred only on the 5th of January. I take the exact time of sunset on the 21st and it kept getting later by roughly 30 seconds every day until the 5th of January, when the days started getting shorter again. The sun also sets more to the south. I cannot check sunrise due to mountains to the east.

I put up a sundial in June at Winter Solstice aligning North/South with the sun and the shadow of the pin on the dial at exactly 12:30 as that is when the sun is exactly north due to me being 7 degrees west of 30 degrees , where South Africa’s time zone is taken from. The sundial is fixed. On the 21st of December at 12: 30 in the afternoon the shadow is still about 30 mins away from being exactly South.

I also cannot check sunrise or sunset on 21st June due to high mountains to the North. So I am stuck to sunsets in December…

To me that means a shift in the angle of the axis. This year I will take photos.Never actually thought of it!

    • We definitely needed someone to watch the sun position in the southern hemisphere during our winter months. Especially now that we have had such extreme increases, decreases & reversals in our axis during the past 3 years. We especially need to determine whether this is indicative of a death wobble occurring or an axis correction. The reversal last summer was definitely unexpected & I cannot think of any logical reason why the axis would suddenly reverse. (I previously posted a photo on my Axis Angle Reversion article last June depicting several of my annual measurements where the sun was located on key years. It also shows the dramatic increase in 2014; then the partial reversal in 2015 which brought us back to the 2006 position). I will be interested to see what it does this June & the following year.

I will be interested in seeing how our axis this June 21st, 2016 compares to the drastic changes between 2013, 2014 & 2015. I’ve never had any dependable southern hemisphere source of measurements for December so your observations would be most welcome. Combined with my June observations, your December observations would allow us to track the sun every 6 months instead of being limited to the annual measurements.

We desperately needed someone to track the December 21st sun position each year from the Southern Hemisphere. If you will include the Dec 21st clock face measurements for our 70,000 followers along with your other observations, I will post your observations as I am going to do when I finish with this comment.

I try to keep it simple for our followers who have little or no Science background. It is best if you use the clock face method I describe on my other posts. It is easier for everyone to follow. When providing the position of the sun I always do so from the same location. Pretend you are standing at the center of a giant clock face with 12 pointing due north, 3 is directly east of you and 9 is west.

On Dec 21st, measure the angle of the sun at sunrise & sunset when the sun is in contact with the “flat” horizon. Using the clock face, tell us where the sun rose & set on that day such as 4 and 8; or 4.5 and 7.5; 5 and 7; etc. Be sure to tell us whether 12 or 6 is pointing north (which will help confirm the direction for everyone following. 12 is best pointing north to keep it consistent for everyone in both hemispheres).

Then you can include your other observations with your sundial, etc. You can then add additional updates or comments to the post with your Dec observations. This would be a huge improvement on the sun position info because the Dec solstice info can only accurately be observed by someone in the southern hemisphere.

For anyone living in the southern hemisphere, I would also appreciate any info on unusually hot summer weather & reports of large sheets of ice broken from Antarctica during your summer. Massive south pole glacial land ice losses usually precipitate axis shifts because it alters the weight of the Earths gyroscopic anchor which provides the balance for the tilt of Earths axis. Those axis shifts also cause massive tsunamis such as Dec 2004. Abnormal planetary motion cases tsunamis. Not earthquakes. Quakes associated with tsunamis are the result of the same planetary motion. Not the cause of the tsunami… Which is why the US no longer manages the Tsunami warning system for Australia, SE Asia, Indonesia, India or other areas impacted by the Dec 2004 Tsunami. The US refuses to recognize planetary motion as the cause and therefore delayed in sounding the alarms which could have saved thousands of lives.

The loss of South Pole glacier ice is why most axis shifts occur between Dec thru Mar. The south pole acts as a gyroscopic anchor which maintains the balance of Earth and the tilt of the Earths axis. As it loses massive sections of glacial ice, our axis angle shifts increasingly as it has systematically been doing since 2004. Most of the shifts were in the month of Dec but a couple were in March. I believe there was also one in Oct. But the largest shifts were in December. So an exceptional heat spell during the southern hemisphere summer might help alert us to an upcoming shift.

Hopefully, in June 2016, we can determine why we had a reversal in 2015 & whether it was a wobble or correction. If the latter, I would question the cause.

      • Well, lots of news from South Africa then…

Regarding the clockface method of measuring the setting of the sun , on December 21 it was at 1:30, with 12: 00 being due South. I am on S34:42. I cannot do the sunrise due to mountains to the East.

We have been having heat waves all summer on the Highveld, which is the Northern part of the country. Temperature records broken in the last few weeks. And a very bad drought.
Contrasting that, I live in a supposedly Winter rainfall area, and we have been getting lots of rain. Which is unusual. And when it is not raining it is hot as hell. Two days ago I measured 38 Deg C in the shade and 45 Deg C
out in the sun. I heard the next town was 48 Deg C.
Some more strange observations. The bay here is a whale nursery. Apparently the biggest in the world. Southern Right whales come here from the Antarctic for the winter. They normally arrive end of May, and depart in October. They give birth to their calves and then leave to go feed in the Antarctic in summer. This year they arrived a month later and departed a month earlier. Which means it is warmer down there in the Antarctic.
Our seawater here is also a lot warmer than usual. We normally have about 20 Deg C at this time of year. At the moment it is 24 Deg C and we are catching fish that normally don’t come this far south.

This is Great White Shark territory, and they prefer temperate waters. There is a big shark diving tourist industry here but all the operators are complaining that the sharks are gone. They haven’t seen any for weeks.

On the other hand, a Zambezi shark was caught in the Breede River. You know them as Bull sharks. They are tropical sharks, and they normally hang out on our East coast. This was a first.

I will keep you updated on news as it happens.

      • You’ve already had 120 people read your new post in the last 12 hours. We’ve never heard stories about whale nurseries or shark diving in the northern hemisphere so it is generating a lot of interest. Our 70,000 followers have increased to 81,000 just since December. Are people really diving in the water with sharks? That would be insanely dangerous. If the Sharks are gone, they are probably hunting the whale babies at the South Pole. Usually, we only hear about Australia being besieged with Great White Sharks… and they are not diving with them. Mostly just shark attacks, there.

Can you include Fahrenheit temperatures with your centigrade temperatures? We only use Fahrenheit in the US so most of our US readers are lost when it comes to the metric system unless someone is referring to a 2 liter soda pop bottle. Using both temperature measurements would be a great help.

    • OK. So if the 12 o’clock position was supposed to point south, then your observation is that the sun set between the 3 and 4 o’clock position. This is consistent with an axis tilt that is closer to pre-2000 values.

      • Those measurements were from Australia. The key points in the Southern Hemisphere are the opposite from us. But Yes, that is what we’ve noted since this past June 2015.

The axis had significantly increased between 2013 and 2014 to the point where it was increased by a factor of 2000 miles when Compared to the pre Y2K axis tilt.

(Y2K the year; not the doomsday predictions which I thought were pretty silly since I had 25 years of computer expertise at that time. Add 15 more years more expertise since Y2K. My father began his early years as a cobol & fortran programmer on gov’t systems. I knew Assembler, basic & Unix so we couldn’t imagine what the panic was about. I think the only problem I heard about was the Dallas courthouse was sending out jury duty notices for the year 1900 from some obsolete analog system they were using. Of those people who asked me about Y2K the predictions at that time, my advice was, “when you see the scientists & engineers in a panic, that is the time to worry.”)

As for the position of the sun, it significantly reversed between 2014 and 2015 by about 1200 miles so we now (as of June 2015) have a post Y2K axis tilt increase of about 800 to 850 miles. It had somehow reversed & restored part of our earlier tilt comparative to our 2006 measurements. So we are now leaning only 800+ miles further on our axis than pre Y2K… instead of the 2000 mile increase we measured in 2014.

I have no idea as to how or why our increasing tilt suddenly reversed itself. We are not back to normal. We are still off by 800+ miles but it is a significant & unexpected improvement.

But that is not necessarily a good sign. It could be an end stage wobble like a spinning top when it slows down and begins to wobble erratically just before it falls over. Or maybe my offline commenter was correct when he said the govt’s are using multiple Cern type systems placed at key global positions to realign the planet. That is certainly not in my field of expertise. But with the things I do know; reality is so far beyond any conspiracy theory that I don’t dismiss any possibility.

As I have said since June 2015, our axis tilt has reversed direction & improved our dilemma by giving us a 1200 mile decrease from the 2014 measurement of 2000 miles. It looks good but it could be bad. A death wobble.

The question is: what will it do in 2016, 2017, etc? We will have to watch, wait & measure the changes to find out why it suddenly reversed direction. Especially when it had significantly increased by 850 miles the previous year in 2014. And whether it is a bad sign or a good one.

Those are two extensive changes in opposite directions in just 2 years. An 850 mile increase in 2014 and a 1200 mile decrease in 2015. I never would have believed it if I had not measured it myself. I had also said the 2014 increase would create a record breaking severe winter while our meteorologists predicted the opposite. That’s when we had that hellacious winter last year with nonstop blizzards and 40′ snow drifts burying the entire New England states. That record breaking winter was due to the 2014 axis tilt increase.

Now that we have significantly decreased the tilt, I said we would have a much milder winter this year. The meteorologists are predicting a severely cold winter. It was 75 degrees today. I think my batting average is much better than theirs.

Perhaps our fearless leaders are experimenting with some inconceivable technology & made the situation worse before better. I cant think of any technology we could create which would affect the planet on a global scale. But then again, it’s not in my field of expertise. Perhaps they found a way to manipulate the EM fields. I can’t conceive of such a capability of managing such global forces. But anything is possible. Who am I to question what we can do or gauge our technological limitations.

We can all see the sun is not where it should be & is far beyond the tropic lines. We know the sun should never shine in the north windows but there it is. Sunlight streaming in during sunrise & sunset in June.

Thus, all we can do is measure it in June so I can compare it with the measurements I have collected over the past 10 years. My July post contains a photo which shows the position of the sun during some of those measurements over the decade. As of June 2015, the suns position is back to where it was in 2006. It is still 800+ miles too far to the north during the summer & the same amount too for to the south in the Winter but a lot better than the 2000 miles variance it had in 2014. I would not be surprised to see it back to pre Y2K normal in June based on the measurements from Australia this week. If I knew why it suddenly flipflopped positions I would be less worried. If our scientists (like the TV show Eureka) did power up a group of giant cern-like systems which were really covert field manipulators instead of colliders, which they used to correct the tilt, I couldn’t be happier.

But logic tells me it required a hellova lot of planetary forces for our planet to make such drastic changes & reversals like it has since 2014. That worries me & makes me think of the spinning top analogy.

I hope everyone has been making their own measurements & observations each June so they wont have to take my word for it. We can’t do anything about it except to keep informed & prepared. We may be lucky & have these catastrophes bypass our lifetimes entirely.

Panic would be a waste of energy so I just try to provide & update the info. I don’t want to create one of those End of world prediction sites. Just basic info which everyone can see & verify for themselves without being bullied by gov’t hirelings and AH’s.

All we can do is continue to measure the sun on the solstices to see whether it continues to improve or does a final death wobble onto its side. How do they say it? Hope for the best but prepare for the worst… Just in case. We certainly can’t do anything about it except continue to remain informed & be prepared for survival needs. If you should see the gov’t change their behavior & scrambling for cover, it would be a good idea to take those actions seriously for a potential upcoming catastrophe regardless as to whether it is the planetary tilt, an asteroid or attack. We would also appreciate if our followers would share such observations with us… before the internet crashes.

Here is the link to my July 2015 post with the photo of some of my measurements over the past 10 years. The 2006 & 2015 solar positions are the same.

Measuring axis tilt from the Northern Hemisphere.
    Latitude – 40.73
    Angle of Sun = 29.15
    Axis Tilt = 20.12

Miles beyond normal inclination = 234

The earth has wobbled back beyond the normal inclination by 3.38 degrees.

  4. WAY out!! I only just sent a pic to my posse, showing the sun setting at nearly 7 o’clock with 12 being north, also rising about the 4 o’clock position but hills in the way, I’m In Perth WA Dec 21st your time or ours?
That was yesterday, I’ll get a better reading tonight, 22nd 12 EAST. Also are people over there aware it is still Autumn NOT WINTER YET!!

  5. The axis tilt can also be measured from the Northern Hemisphere.
My latitude is 40.73. The sun is at 29.15. The computed axis tilt is 20.12 degrees.
This is 840 miles beyond the historic axis tilt of 23.5 degrees.

More sun in Arctic. Less sun in Antarctic.

    • It is more difficult to be accurate from the northern hemisphere during the winter solstice which is why we need the Australia & south Africa sightings to confirm & compare. If you look at my June observations I mentioned we had regressed about 1200 miles toward our normal axis tilt angle & would have a milder winter this year. We are still off by about 800 to 850 miles. So it is helpful to have comparative observations from everyone. The measurements are much appreciated from any location.

Here is my long dissertation from the improved changes last June; pasted below. I didn’t want everyone to jump to the wrong conclusion. It will be a couple years before we can determine if this is a lasting improvement or a death wobble. I’m hoping the next Summer solstice will continue to have good measurements.

      https://axischange.wordpress.com/2015/06/26/axis-angle-reversion-not-a-good-sign/

I was surprised to see the axis angle regress last June. I wasn’t expecting that. We had been getting consistently worse since 2004. June 2015 was a significant change in the opposite direction (for the better). But I described several possible negative reasons for such an improvement which we need to consider before jumping to rash conclusions. Which is why we really need to keep track of the sun’s position for the next couple years.

We need to ensure this isn’t some type of final death wobble which I compare to a spinning top which does some final exaggerated wobbles just before it falls over. I refer to that as a death wobble & caution everyone not to assume that regression (improvement) in our axis tilt as a good sign too soon. But to be wary & continue to keep a watchful eye on the changes over the next couple years. If it reverts again to its pre 2014 measurements, it would be a bad sign. If it maintains or improves on this recession toward our normal tilt, then it would be a good sign. It is unfortunate it takes so long between Solstices. (note: I try to keep the analogies & methods simple so everyone can participate).

That was a huge reversion we measured last June & was accompanied with some significant volcanic activity last May. While we will have a milder winter we are still off our normal axis tilt by about 850 miles affecting the weather from our pre 2003 measurements.

I will be interested to see if it wobbles back again in the summer. There’s certainly no precedent for this in our lifetimes.

One of my offline posters who do not wish me to publicize their comments feels the govt’s have positioned large cern-like Electromagnetic generators interacting to realign the axis. As a scientist & engineer I don’t have any evidence to back that up but I do have an open mind and we did have excessive axis shifts in opposite directions from 2013 to 2014 and the reverse direction from 2014 to 2015. So nothing would surprise me. Clearly those colliders can generate some hellacious EM fields & they certainly have had more down time than productivity for science so I hope they put it to some good use for the expense involved. Usually, most conspiracy theories turn out to be true. More often than not, the real conspiracies are far worse than anyone can imagine.

I do know they have blocked our view of the Center of the south pole satellite imagery since 2009 & only show altered pre 2009 imagery. So I do wonder what the reason is. Lack of new imagery or construction of something they don’t want seen. Anything is possible. They have Haarp at the artic circle, so why not something else at the south pole. I can’t think of why they are blocking the images. It’s not as if we had public access to that region. Any foreign govt’s would already know what is located there from their own satellite surveillance. Maybe we should ask the foreign gov’ts what they can see?

      However, our current concern for these improved Axis measurements for which we now have additional confirmation… is the question;

what will the axis tilt do next?

The comment post delays are to ensure we don’t have vandals, bullies or harassment. Prior to 2008 it was quite violent. The gov’t had sent their army of pitbulls to attack. The comment delays help keep that off the site, but sometimes it takes a few hours for me to apply the comment approvals due to bad health issues. I have only seen one such vandal since 2008, so I appreciate the courtesy. The gov’t has called off their dogs and decided to leave us alone once they realized we only do calm observations & measurements of significant changes in our axis from year to year which anyone can verify just by looking outside; rather than EOW or ELE prophecies.

We have nearly 60,000 followers per year so I endeavor to keep it simple & honest. This is one global occurrence the Authorities can’t hide from us. I did appreciate the job offers from the gov’t headhunters but I’m too ill to accept.

I hope everyone will help us confirm the June 21st solar position measurements this summer. Such massive reversals in the past two years are a bit disconcerting even though they are an improvement.

The gov’t disaster preparation patterns indicate they are expecting something bad to happen between 2020 & 2026. I have no direct knowledge of what they might be expecting. But we need to keep informed & aware of the changing situations & issues.

  6. Hi,
The current axis tilt can also be determined by measurements in the Northern Hemisphere.
My latitude is 40.73 and the sun is aligned at 29.15 degrees at noon.
That means the current axis tilt is 20.12 degrees.
Historically, the axis tilt was 23.5 and your earlier annual observations recorded an even greater axis tilt.
So the earth has wobbled back over the historic values by 840 miles.
This should mean a slightly milder winter in the northern hemisphere since the sun is slightly higher in the skies.
More Arctic ice melt. Less Antarctic ice melt.

Hopefully, some of your southern hemisphere readers will confirm this.
